Prakshal, a Global Shaper (selected by World Economic Forum), holds master's degree in Development Communication with a specialization in Environment Communication. He has to his credit an in-depth study on impact of tourism in Gir national park. With experience of almost 7 yrs in outdoors environment education programmes, Prakshal has conducted nature and environment education camps at various places across the country. He has worked with premier organizations like CEE (Centre for Environment Education), WWF (World Wildlife Fund), EMMRC (Educational Multi Media Research Centre), DNA Newspaper and ANALA (Ahmedabad Nature Lover's Association).

A wonderful & creative thinker, Prakshal's expertise lies in conceiving ideas, communication research, training, creative graphic designing & writing. Traveling, photography & natural history interpretation interests him the most. He is the Project Head of WAY's Shopping for the Planet campaign.

Wricha Johari,

She has to her credit an in-depth study on impact of an outdoor environment education program conducted in different parts of Gujarat. She has worked with premier organizations like CEE (Centre for Environment Education), EMMRC (Educational Multi Media Research Centre), DNA Newspaper and ANALA (Ahmedabad Nature Lover's Association).

A fantastic & strong communicator, Wricha's expertise lies in effective oral communication, developing communication strategies, training, creative audio-visual & graphic designing & time management. Film making, theatre art & photography are major areas of her interest, where she constantly keeps growing. At WAY, she looks after many programmes & projects. She is the Program Director of WAY's innovative environment communication program - WAY-Everything Connects. Her insight into issues of environment through human perspective makes the WAY very different & effective.

Arpan Johari,
Environment & Business

A practicing Architect by profession, he has international experience in sustainable building design. Arpan has keen interest in sustainable buildings and holds an MBA in sustainable businesses. He is trained in Environment Management and Assessment Systems, green supply chains, sustainable banking initiatives, and sustainable business strategies and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, UK. He has presented paper titled 'Energy efficient buildings for the aerospace industry buildings' at SCMIS Taiwan.

Jalpa Kandachia,
Graphics Designer

With a rich & diverse experience in graphic designing and visual merchandising, Jalpa takes care of all the communication designing at WAY. She is a graduate from NIFD (National Institute of Fashion Designing).

Mounil Mehta,
Concepts & Events

An MBA in Marketing, Mounil applies his experience of retail marketing into construction of concepts and ideas at WAY. He is man behind most of the branding and communications done at WAY's events and activities.

Dr. Arun Dixit,
Senior Consultant (Environment and Research)

He is a PhD in Botany, a very senior scientist and a consultant to WAY. His vast experience of environment and ecological research across the country has guided WAY and its work since beginning. Though he is a mentor in the truest sense, on table of discussion his enthusiasm and curiosity of exploring newer things keeps the younger team members behind in the race of learning. His energy and insight motivates WAY incessantly.

Sqn. Ldr. Arun Patel (Retd.),
Senior Consultant (Environment Education)

He has himself been responsible for initiating and conducting an environment educational programme for children in outdoors. He conducts sustainability audits for schools, colleges, company, institutions, etc. He is a certified school examiner of QCA- Quality Council Accreditation. By profession he is a Helicopter pilot (Retd.) and has been able to get an ariel view of the country over the years. During which he has been able to see how the land and nature has changed, been ravaged [all aspects of it].

Samarth J.,
Consultant (Animation)

Samarth has experience of being chief animator of Zee 24 hours. He has diverse knowledge of 3D animation, composting and direction. He has worked with various premier TV channels like Neosports, NDTV, Sanskar, and Zee Telefilms.

Karishma Panchal,
MSc., Environmental Biotechnology


Youngest in the team, Karishma is a great learner and brings on table innovative ideas on doing an activity or programme differently. Her curiosity & readiness has added a lot to her experience. Her key expertise lies in planning & managing events and conducting indoor and outdoor programmes with school children.

Girish Parmar

A very talented & experienced theatre artist specialised in traditional and local theatre performances. He is also a talented director, script writer and performer.

Maulik Raval, MDC, M.Com, B.Com


Maulik is known for his hard work, precision and perfection. His vast experience in conducting researches, ground-truthing and documentation are being optimally utilized in many projects of WAY. He is also wonderful at public relation, communication, coordination and strategy development.
